    Don't these people know how to use digital in lines or audio in lines on their sound card and get the appropriate wiring to do this without buying a stand alone unit?

    I guess more and more novice things like this are going to be hitting the market to make it easier to converty everything.

    Next we have VHS and BETA Max players for computers.....

    Sort of the same about what Stack said....I baically did the same thing with my mixer stereo and sometimes even Tv to catch stupid samples or record stuff.
    I already had the "record-all" programm for incoming sound and streaming sound. I ripped several cassettes and even albums before I gave them all away.
    I guess I could have made a cassette of whatever I wanted to coming out of the PC too.

    Damn, MORE geek stuff!?:D
