I would buy from itunes, but you have to have a mac to browse the music store(...right?). So, basically, yes I do plan on paying once a store starts selling to Windows users.
I recently discovered buymusic.com and purchased an album from the site. I plan on checking out Apple's service once it is available for the PC. We have had this discussion many times before, but why is it outrageous to purchase something rather than steal it? Argue all you want, justify it all you want, but downloading MP3 files without the owner's permission is currently against the law.
Check out buymusic.com. They have singles strarting at 79 cents and albums starting around $7.95. Unfortunately they currently don't have any Weird Al. The ability to burn, download and transfer depends on the song. Any song that is available to buy can be burned, downloaded and transferred at least once (as far as I have been able to tell).
I have kind of resigned myself to waiting for iTunes because of the lack of restrictions on burning/copying to other devices. I have even thought about buying my wife an iMac just so I can get iTunes now.
