Boston leading by one with 12 seconds, Pierce gets a technical and ejected, and lets the Pacers tie the game
Nederland's (near Beaumont, not the dutch name for their country) Kendrick Perkins misses both free throws.
That was a horrible call by the officials. I mean it was more acting by jamal tinsley. This is a travisity.
Then they pick Kendrick Perkins off the bench to shoot free throws, which of course he misses. This is one of the most bizarre sequences in NBA History.
Blame the Refs for handing the Pacers, who shot twice as many fouls shots as the C's, the game by making Kendrick Perkins take those foul shots.
I forgot to mention the conspiracy where the refs force overtime, so the nation won't get to see how awful the Rockets-Mavs series will be called...
I think that's a technicality though, it's simply a rule, that since Pierce was ejected, they get to pick any Celtic. That 2nd free throw was in, he cost them the game right there.
BTW, earlier in the year I advocating the Celtics trading Paul Pierce. Not anymore. He has my full support now.
They were getting all the calls. The Celtics actually had to make a couple of AND1s during that fourth quarter. Still, that was a STUPID decision by Paul Pierce, and then he starts waving his jersey at the crowd. Luckily they still have a chance in OT. Doubt they win though.
Not too often Miller-time airballs a 3 in crunch time. That guy for the Celtics looked like he did NOT want to be shooting those free throws.
he was stupid to throw that elbow but it wasn't as bad as they are making it out to be. he shouldn't have gotten ejected for it. he did get hit in the face. regardless, why is rivers putting perkins at the line? i like kendrick (texas product) and i played against him in HS but he can't be the best option to shoot those free throws. i blame doc rivers on that one.
HAHA!! The Celtics can't do anything without getting fouls called against them. This is crazy. Hakeem, the Pacers got to pick the free throw shooter.
Why? He was ejected 'cuz he got a second technical... not because of the elbow per se. The flop by Tinsley was seriously exaggerated.
He was ejected because he already had 1 technical, they just called another so 2 techs = automatic ejection. Steve Javie is quick with his whistle, he's known for stuff like this.
