Looking very solid for the Spurs. How do they do it? Pick just about anybody they need while we are crapping around with Fortson and Boykins.

Is it possible Mills had no desire to play for the Rockets and wanted to join a team with a chance to contend? If the Rockets had the 2nd best record in the West and the Spurs were marginal, he probably would have come here. Also, who in their right mind wouldn't choose Pop over McHale?
He has connections with both franchises. One of the Spurs assistant coaches is the head coach of Australia's national team. The guy who recruited him for St. Mary's now works for the Rockets as a scout.

Yeah in two games. But it wasnt really everyones fault. In offense he was breaking down Brooks every time and that was putting extra pressure on everyone else. In defense he was causing forced-TOs from Brooks as well. Just absolutely dominated Brooks. I wish we could have got him instead of Boykins.
It was either 2 or 3 weeks as the Rockets main backup PG then DNP the rest of the way when Lowry's back or be the Spurs' only backup PG for the rest of their season.
