Every time I see an interview with PatPat I am more and more convinced that this guy at the very least will be a solid role player. At this point I just can't imagine that he'll be a bust or a career pine-rider. Excellent job by DM and staff to get a very low-risk guy with upside. Can't wait to see him in the summer league.
Patrick has done very well for himself in his early interviews, but I look forward to hearing him speak after he's been around the organization for a while and feels more comfortable. Right now his answers feel a little rehearsed...genuine, but rehearsed. Glad to have him on board.
Don't you just hate it when kids with a good head on their shoulders gets traded? I know its all a part of the business, but dang...
I think that's 90% of the reason why I don't want Battier traded. He is so clean and intelligent that when he gives interviews I can't help but be proud that he's a Rocket. What was surprising to me is that as much of a thug Rafer was, he could give the best interviews.
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine! You make me happy.... thanks for the post.. I will share it among my UK compadres as well!
This guy is so lovely, definitely you can prove what he has studied. It would make me sad to watch him traded that soon. I'm starting to being pessimistic with Scola too. He's gonna recieve a very tempting offer, if he turns his eyes and sees a Bosh + Patterson, maybe doesn't want to remain in Houston. Don't know, but Bosh/Amare + Scola + Patterson... I don't see that, would like to know what's thinking Daryl.
Scola is a restricted free agent. Even if he does sign with Houston, Morey will reel him back in. Scola will be a Rocket again, the question is does he somehow become trade bait after Houston resigns him...
I know it, but if he tells Morey "I don't want to play here, I want more minutes", I don't see Morey forcing him to stay, nor paying that much money to a player who has great substitutes.
