We may never know if she had anything to do with her daughter's death. I can't believe how long it has been since the murder. She would be almost 15 by now. I guess they are together again.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/06/24/ramsey.death/ When I first read the title, I thought maybe some foul play had happened...but it's ovarian cancer...
It's funny to me that she miiiiiight have killed her daughter and now she's dead. It's funny because I'm a horrible person.
My thought is the father did it and the mother colluded to protect him. Some of the awful interviews they gave a while after the murder were very suspicious to me. Especially when the father said one time, "There was no way either one of us would do this horrible crime". The way he said it gave me chills. It was like some other little girl was killed, instead of his own daughter. I sensed no grief or anger at all from him. It was as if he was just trying to distance himself from being guilty. After that interview, they stopped giving them. An interview of a "legal expert" one time also had me wondering. His theory (which was shared by others) was that police knew and could prove it had to be either Mr. or Mrs Ramsey but they couldn't prove WHICH ONE. Therefore any jury would have found reasonable doubt if either one had gone on trial. Some of the theories about another party committing the murder were incredibly far fetched. I can't even remember them any more. Lastly, the utter secrecy by investigators in the case and their stone cold attitude toward the Ramsey's told me they were certain one or both of them committed the crime but they didn't feel comfortable proceeding with the case. Bottom line for me: It reminds me of the O.J. case where no alternative theory made any sense whatsoever. But you can't convict someone of a crime based on that. The Ramsey's had enough time to cover their tracks well enough to not be prosecuted. Just my 2 cents: I think it's perverted to dress up and put full makeup on 6 year old girls like grown women. Sick! Sick! Sick! It's borderline child abuse. Just my very strong humble opinion.
Just found this. Very very long read. Balanced also. Worth it if you are curious about the case. After reading it, I still think one of her parents did it. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/magazine/story/0,,1803742,00.html
I think it's close to kiddie p*rn to put a little girl in makeup and make her walk around a catwalk in a sexy manner in a dress. What is sexy about a 6 year old?
I absolutely hated the Ramsey thing.. my god.. why did that become a story? Because she's a little white girl that danced around in little outfits? It was sickening, the entire thing... and I couldnt care less that the mom is dead, either. Get this kind of crap off the newswires for good, please. End bitter tirade.
It's more than that. Why are there beauty pagents at all for 6 year old girls? That is the problem. The blame is on the parents and the organizers who run these perverted "kiddie p*rn" pageants. The media called her a "beauty queen" because she won a lot of her shows.
Great post,...I agree to this mindset 100%...As a father of a 5 and 7 year old daughters I can understand this...
I definitely think someone in the family did it...The only reason he got away is because they had money...I don't like the kid pagents...I remember seeing an HBO show about them and it was sick...It was a couple of years ago and the parents are crazy...
We want our daughters to be whole persons with a good life skills, a good education, and strong morals. I couldn't imagine putting one of my kids in these "pageants." I even cringe when I take my daughter to ballet and the hip-hop class is finishing up... pre-pubescent girls shaking their non-existent money-makers. Ugggh. As my wife says, "beauty is temporary, stupid is forever."
