For those who went to the game, did you notice the amount of people that left after Rafer missed the 2nd free throw? Unbelievable... We were still down 2 at that point.
They've watched a Rockets game before and know that we're mental midgets that act like paralyzed deer in the headlights when we have the final possession with the game on the line.
I don't blame the fans. At least they didn't have to suffer watching Yao shoot a two point fade away.
well they probably thought lakers was gonna make both free throws and the game was over. tho i agree with u that some fans at TC are just pathetic.
They might've been walking out in frustrating disgust of Rafer Alston. Overall, I think the fans were great. Houston fans really get into it when the game is competitive. Granted, I'm not a fan of the fans at Toyota Center either, but tonight was great. Anytime the game depends on Rafer's teardrop...you get mad. On top of that, when Rafer misses his teardrop and gets a chance to redeem himself at the line but misses...you have to start getting pretty upset. Last season, Rafer hit his teardrops, and the Rockets went on a 22 game win streak. This season, Rafer's teardrop shot should be counted as a turnover
just got in from the game. that was the loudest i have heard it in there in a long time... and they announced that it was the largest home attendance ever. having said that, there were still several empty seats in the lower bowl, and they flew towards the exit when rafer went to the line.
I have to say the Rox, unfortunately, have the worst fans. Many guys on this forum don't understand basketball at all. What they are good at is throwing very stupid questions:"Why the last shot went to Yao?"...Guys, did you watch the game at all? Did you notice the intense D? Did you even know we were playing against the best team in the league? Their greatest interest lies in blaming the players, even they fought till the last minute, and lost the game as true fighters. You know, they just blame everything, very typical and cynical. Try playing basketball, try watching the game frame by frame and analyze the routines and strategies of our team and their opponents. Be professional! And most important, if you guys just can't afford loses, please go to the corner and cry yourself a river in the dark lonely night, losers!
yeah, pathetic fans. after the post game conference there are still some of them here posting shyts like:"why yao shoot the 2?" or "what the heck yao is thinking?" god, it was brooks who didn't run the designed play! plain ridiculous
Actually was a horrible designed play. Running Brooks into the corner for a three with Ariza on him is not going to work 9 times out of 10.
I'm not sure there's anything I dislike worse on this message board than threads started complaining about the people who paid ridiculous prices for tickets to watch their team lose.
so they announced @ the game that this was the most ppl in attendance...so that means toyota center has never been sold out??? wow thats pretty dam sad way to go yao..shoot a 2pt fade away when we clearly needed a fukin 3333333333333333333333333
