Whats some players we have chased in FA in the past? Whats some players Morey chased in Boston? Who has Adelman tried picking up in FA in past years? Can I have some help forming a list of past players covented by the brass? Thanks! I rememebr Payton being a target a few years back. Les was the one that wanted him. Of course we chased Mike James most of last summer only to come up short.
Adelman is really hands off. Geoff Petrie basically ran the show in Sacramento. In fact, Petrie was the one that urged Adelman to run the princeton offense in Sacramento and consequently, built a team with prototypical princeton offense type players. So, Adelman will in all likelihood just defer to Morey. As for Morey, he's unproven. You can't hold him by the decisions in Boston because Danny Ainge is running that show. So its sort of a crapshoot with him. Plus he's bringing the whole moneyball concept to Houston, so it's up in the air whether that works in basketball like it does in baseball. But so far so good with Morey.
