I just recently moved from Clear Lake back to Pasadena to save money for gas on my drive to work. I live in a very nice and quite condo complex that was just recently built and I had the opportunity just minutes ago of watching a guy slash another guys tires on his truck, all four, and break in the vehicle to steal his audio equipment. White due is gonna be pwnd I hope.

I heard the loud hissing of tires being slashed when I went out on the deck to smoke, so once I saw the prick I yelled " I see what you're doing, I've called the cops, good luck."

He yelled back that the truck was his, but of course it wasn't and it's either a low life crook of a pissed off ex-boyfriend. Once I yelled out he took off running and threw a speaker box behind the dumpster, left his pliers and screw driver behind (moron, finger prints much?) and took off running. I called PPD and the Canine Unit was here in under 2 minutes, and three other cars showed up right after. That threw me for a shock for such a quick response. This is a very quite community, and these cops were as cool as could be.

The dog is now tracking him down as he had no car and I hope this ****er gets caught. What a way to ruin such a great buzz! Talking to the Fezz while drunk is kinda hard, but I'm a pro.

RACK the PPD for the quick response is all I can say. I look out for my neighbors, and I hope they do the same for me. Sucks this thief now knows where I live though. I expect my new Z to be fuly vandalized withing 2 weeks.

You shouldn't have warned him. The police might have been able to sneak up on him while he was actually vandalizing the car.

I don't understand why a thief would slash someone's tires. Unless he was out to get some revenge, I see no point for a thief to do that.

That's what the police were talking about. Looks like an ex-boyfriend trying to get revenge. Dumbass left all his tools in the parking lot. I would like to have kept my mouth shut, but I didn't wanna dial 911 for something like this. I actually had to run to the PC to look up PPD's number.

This is a very small condo complex and it's full of families and we all know each other for the most part. I just hope this doesn't come back to haunt me, but I'd want someone to do the same for me if they saw my car being vandalized.

    Pink, with purple rims.

I'm not falling for this one.

Also, I don't really drive a Z. I own a 99 Honda parked on the North corner, and it's silver. Yeah.

Damn, dogs and all that just for a tire slasher? The only way you get dogs in Houston is if its a fugitive on the loose.

they're also pretty quick to give out tickets for "noise pollution" just b/c a car squeals on a turn. yep, that's a true story.

Wow, you can't be serious? Thats just horrible. Does that even classify for noise pollution? I'm almost positive that it has to reach a certain decibel rate before it can classified as noise pollution. Sounds like it was just a ******* cop to me.

Yeah, alcohol doesn't help in making sane decisions. For all I know it could have been his truck, he's going through a divorce and decided to get back at her and my dumbass outed who called the cops. Not good.

I hope it's pure coincidence, but as I was leaving this evening to come housesit my parents animals, some tall guy I've never seen before was walking down the sidewalk, and as I got into my car he walked in front and stared something hardcore. As I pulled out of my spot he took off running to his apt. I then pulled out, drove back around the complex and saw dude sitting on his cell by his door. I hope he was just calling for pizza and not the hitman to come rip up my new car. She's a baby and only 1 month old. :(

I do have PPD in my phone contacts list for future murders of something else I witness. I'm kinda skeert for my baby right now. I expect either a nice key mark, slashed tires or maybe grand theft of it within 2 weeks. That's how my paranoia rolls.
