Last night, the first thing I did after coming back from studying was to check the BBS of the Suns of Biotches (I was too scared of checking CC.net. Their headline was "Suns got f#$@ed over by the Rockets!" Boy oh boy, that line couldn't be any sweeter. The moment I read it, all the frustration accumulated from a whole Sunday's studying just vanished. I yelled YEAH!!! three times, and had my roommates coming over to ask me what happened.

I am just sooooo happy and proud to be Rockets fan now. I feel I am blessed to be one. I've been one for a year already, and this win gives me a reason to become a life-long fan. Given the situation, the Win by the Rockets made me feel we just won the Battle of Bulge. It was decisive and even monumental.

I scanned throw the CC BBS after it went back up (it was down the whole night), and there is no one celebrating like we should. So I started this thread. For those of you who had the happiest feeling last night, come and join me and express it with your passion. This is being a sports fan all about. PARTY ON!!!

P.S. The Jazz got blown out by the Cavs last night. But hey, I don't care. All negative feelings of any sorts was negated by the Rockets win over the Suns of Biotches at that moment. I was in a state of euphoria. I am a Rockets fan more than anything else.

Explain how you can be a Jazz fan and a Rockets fan at the same time again? I thought there was some law of physics preventing that kind of thing...

How the hell does that work?

    That's like a Niner/Raiders fan, or a Yankees/Red Sox fan....

   , they don't exist.

LOL, I can't believe how much abuse I've taken from this BBS by publicly announcing being a Rockets fan. You guys are rude. However, I don't care, since after a little research on history, I now undertand why you feel this way. But, I am newage Rockets fan, and I am not burdened by history this much.

Hey, this is a party thread, I am here celebrating Rockets now. Negativity is NOT allowed. Go get some beer there. :D :D

No feeling better than getting back into town to see the Rockets have won every game while you were gone . . . makes me wonder if I should leave town for the next 18 games! :)

GREAT and VERY IMPORTANT win last night. Playoffs are on the horizon!!

ok homeboy, listen up. Welcome on to the bandwagon. Most of us here live for the Rockets. You were a Jazz fan when we really hated ya'll. Straight up, welcome but you just can't be a Jazz and a Rockets fan at the same time. Thats like a (I can't even beleive Im saying this ) But it's like a worthless Cowboy fan trying to be a Texan fan. It's just not possible. You gotta earn your stripes and the way to do that is well say what we say, think how we think hate like we hate. What do we say, think, and hate you ask?

    WE HATE THE JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    any questions?

Please go back from where you came from - we don't want you bad luck :D .

Hey lookiee here - we are only one back of the Utah Jazz  and if we don't implode this week we could find ourselves in the 7th place and leave Utah, Phoenix and GS to worry about the 8th spot. Nice :p

actually there is some really good beer in utah. lots of breweries. utah is a beatiful state. especially the southern half. zion and bryce canyon are two of the most amazing places i have ever been in my life.

despite that i still hate the jazz with all of my heart.

I would have been a lot more excited if we would have played the entier game like we did in the first half. I was starting to get a little scared that we were going to make all the headlines as CHOKE CITY again :( But we pulled it out and I am happy......Sunday was definitely the day for the Rockets...we pulled ahead of Suns by beating them, gained ground on Utah and finally won 5 in a row for the first time all season which is also the second highest streak in the league right now.

The best part about the Jazz lose was the attempted Triple Double...

In the 3rd quarter, up by 26, we lost focus and went back to the kind of basketball that makes one pull his/her hair. We stopped moving the ball, setting good picks and adjusting to the Suns "adjustment". I was upset but I was never really scared. I hope our players learnt from it.

Let me use this opportunity to give Kudos to Francis, Rice and Taylor for their leadership. Also Cutino and Eddy did many good things last night. I just hope we never lose our focus anymore no matter the point differencial.
