honestly...he's 4. When he's 10 he won't remember this party. Don't try to keep up with the Jones'es and spend a lot of money trying to make it ultra-fun and special. Kids are happy with some friends, cake and ice cream and opening presents at home. Just get some decorations from party city and have the party at home with some party games. He'll enjoy it just as much as if its at an indoor bounce place or Chuck E Cheese. Now when he's 8..it'll be a different story. Have fun & Take lots of pictures.
If you are willing to travel to the outskirts of town, I highly recommend one of these two places. They both specialize in kids birthdays: http://www.dewberryfarm.com/ (between Waller & Brookshire) http://www.oilranch.com/ (NW of Tomball) We've had several bday parties at both places, and it wears the heck out of all the kids. Tons of stuff to do. Beats Chuck E Cheeze and Main Event
Chuck E Cheese! But if your not looking to spend much money, your a parent you should know what he's into right now spiderman, cowboys & indians, etc. Make sure there is a piƱata with candy lol
Wow, I don't even remember birthdays at 4 years old. I started remembering mine from 7 upwards though. You should be saving your money for when your kids hit 9 or 10. I had a kickass bday party at 9 and still remember it to this day.
I need to rep you! For the longest I couldn't remember what ranch it was that they would take us on field trips every fall in grade school. Lots of fun memories at the oil ranch.
Contact Downtown Aquarium about their kids birthday parties. It is pretty affordable and kids have a great time. Package includes train ride, Ferris wheel, tour of all the fish stuff, white tigers and food for kids.
Look up someone by the name of Chuck Montgomery, comedian, magician, overall entertainer. He will work with your budget to bring the necessary items to appeal to your crowd and to the adults. YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH HIM. Need more info, private msg. me. Good luck with the party.
It's a shame places like Peppermint Park aren't around anymore. One of the few memories I still have when I was 4 years old. I'm not sure they'd make money these days with all the lawsuits, but it was a fun time. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&viewas=0&gid=53380145377#!/media/set/?o.53380145377
