Personal opinion, but i think that your ebay feedback score should have something to do with your credit rating. I found myself looking at the feedback people gave me and i have 100% positive feedback. Not only did it just make me feel good about myself but at the same time i thought, mother effer this would be nice for the ol credit rating. Just a 3 am random thought.
I don't think so. I have 3 negatives because of idiots that bought my stuff and either didn't read the auction or are just butt-hurt about something else. I didn't have one engine part labeled correctly and instead of telling me and asking for refund I just got a negative. The guy then went around and turned it for 300% profit on eBay.
I could see ebay leveraging your credit score to better inform users about each other's trustworthiness, but not credit bureaus using your ebay reputation in generating their scores.
Am I the only one that sees this as incredibly stupid? One factor takes into account reality...do you pay your bills on time? What's your debt to income ratio? etc etc. This idea would let the thoughts of people who might not believe that Millennium Falcon you sold them over the internets isn't really 100% in mint condition. Yeah. That makes sense.
