“It’s the first game that we’ll ever play together. Sometimes it might not be pretty but it’ll give us something to start off with, watch film and get better from that,” Parsons added. “It’s all coming together so it’ll be fun to actually go out there and play against someone else. I’m sick of playing against these guys.”

lol, are these guys ready or what?

From what I've seen, the rockets are ahead of the curve. The scrimmage footage we saw showed the rockets playing at a very fast pace and at a high level of intensity. These guys have been practicing together throughout the summer. They're ready.

Im not sure about that. They only played together for like 3 or 4 days during the summer, without any coaches. It's going to take time for them to be ready.

Actually they practiced this summer with mchale in attendance for some of the sessions. And many of the guys practiced together for several multi-day sessions.

Chandler is just sick of seeing either Dwight or Omer at the rim every time he drives in practice. Just like every other team will (for 48 minutes) when they play against the Rockets this year!!!

    Bring. It. On!!!

Chandler's already sick of his teammates... Dissension amongst the ranks ... McHale's losing control of the team... we haven't even played the first game. So sad!

Parsons said recently it's miserable playing against Dwight because of how strong he is

But he wasn't allowed to coach, from what i understand...

What sessions are you referring to? Here in Houston it was mostly bench guys and those sessions were developmental. The team only got together in LA for about 3 or 4 days

The core group hasn't had enough time together to be declared ready, unless you mean preseason ready.

What, was Parsons trying to work Dwight in the post? I don't get it.

Parsons is a stud. He has a chance to be the 2nd best player on this team after Dwight IMO. He is that talented

Meh. Decent basketball player getting overrated due to his handsomeness. Nobody would give a damn about him if he looked like Josh Howard.

Put the crack pipe down. I like Parsons as much as the next guy. But he is not the second comeing of Larry Bird. And that's what he would need to pass Harden.

The reality is Parsons is an overachiever who has a bit of ice in his veins and plays better under pressure but that level is still subpar Harden and he is inconsistent whenhe is not playing with ice in his veins.

Josh Howard even looked worse before he got his teeth fixed.
