Defense comes down to effort which he displayed his rookie year. I'm still a Parsons fan but not sure if a Harden/Parsons wing combo will ever win big in the playoffs if neither one can be bothered to play defense.
Harden/Parsons wing combo will never work. They are both lazy and out of shape. Parsons is simply to inconsistent to play along Harden. He cant guard and runs his mouth non stop. How bout guard a man if you yell switch you stupid male model.

I don't blame Parsons for having the courage to think he can Lillard. I blame Mchale for letting the BS actually happen.
McHale sucks no doubt but Parsons is just not as good as he thinks he is. If he could hit a layup in the series I might pass out. He needs to be traded while his stock is high because he runs his mouth and does not make up for it with his play. Plus he is a terrible fit with Harden.
If Parsons is guarding the other teams best player, then the rockets have deep defensive issues. It is not on Parsons
If Howard would have just made one more FT down the stretch!!! He gave it his all though. Can't ask for more.
