I watched both both documentrys, I was just curious on what everyones opinion was on the 3. Do you feel they are guilty or not guilty. After watching them my vote leans towards 3 innocent people are sitting behind bars. The murders of the 3 kids were terrible enough,Is this proof that the wheels of justice are slow or is it because the Arkansas police do not wanna admit they were wrong. If you have not seen this and your interested in how the system can fail you I suggest these two Dvd's Paradise Lost and Paradise Lot 2 If you have a weak stomach I do not suggest you watch them. Anyhow guilty or innocent? and who do you think could have done it. www.wm3.org
I haven't watched either documentary, but based on my reading about the case, it sure appears that the kids that are sitting behind bars probably did not commit the crime.
I would like to second this. I tried to watch it one time, but after seeing some of the horrible things done to those kids, I couldn't take it and had to turn it off. Whoever is guilty of the crime, I hope they are put away for a loooong time.
I watched those when they came out on HBO a few years back. I dont believe they had enough real evidence that they had the right guys. While the accused were wweird little guys, that doesnt automatically make you guilty of heinous crimes like those. Very disturbing to watch. Metallica fans will enjoy the music that gets played during the shows..
There's a new book out (or coming out soon) about the case called "Devil's Knot" by Mara Leveritt. Here's a link to a page that talks about the book a little bit: http://www.crimelibrary.com/classics/westmemphis/updates.htm Just FYI in case anyone was interested.
