no spoilers...dont worry...ill save those for later anyone seen it yet? just saw it tonight...pretty good movie. not as suspensful as i thought it would be, considering the whole premise of it, but still i enjoyed it. also had quite a few funny parts. was hoping for a better ending though.
I saw it today. It is pretty good. I thought Jodie Foster & Forest Whitaker were really good. I agree that the ending was a little disappointing, but I'm not sure how they could've ended it without making it a cookie cutter type of ending. The bad guys were funny.
Just saw it a few hours ago... I thought it was okay, nothing spectacular, I did enjoy Whittaker's performance though. Jodie Foster was a little bit annoying early in the movie. Some of the camera shots were pretty cool also. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

I like Fincher's work a lot. This wasn't my favorite of his, but I thought it was a strong overall film. I was a little taken out of the film by Foster early on as well, BGM. I love what Fincher does with the camera, though, and he certainly knows how to put an audience on the edge of their seat. I saw it in a packed house, and the whole audience was writhing during the cell-phone sequence. I do agree, however, that the film hit an awkward note at the end, and I'm not sure what it was. I tried to figure out what Fincher was trying to say with it, and I really couldn't do it. I have a few possible ideas, but I won't discuss them for at least another week. That way more people will get the chance to see the film so I don't spoil anything.
iceberg How they should have ended it, this means a spoiler is upcoming so avert your eyes if you don't want to read one: When FW comes back to save JF, he should have then turned the gun on the family and made off with the loot. The ending as it was now was so Hollywood. You could guess it before even going to see the movie. My ending, no one would see coming.
