Lol, I wish I had such optimism to even think like that. Man this is a hole, and this team ****ing sucks, and the manager is a ****ing stooge.
I remember they were bad just didn’t remember it was that bad. somehow I feel like it wasn’t nearly as pathetic as this, but good to know.
I don't consider thinking the Astros making the playoffs at slightly under 50% chance optimistic. The Astros are 6 games out of the division on April 25. Last season, the Astros were 6.5 games out of the division on June 19th. It hasn't even been a f#$%ing year since the Astros made up a 6 game lead. It sucks. Maybe the Astros never come back. The Astros make me sick almost every night. There should be some panic in the Astros. Is it time to start praising the other AL West teams as great teams that under no circumstance could cough up a 6 game lead from now until the end of the regular season? No.
All the losing at the Juice Box over the past 2 seasons has metastasized into the Yips, whether home or away. 10 years is a long time for any team to be consistently good- "things fall apart, the center cannot hold." We'll see how Jim Crane handles Sellers, Vol.2. Been nice knowin' ya Breggy, Framber, Hader, WB Chas- don't think JV will want to stick around either.
Thank you for your annual contribution to this forum. __ Shoutout to St Thomas More... Father Donovan (80-90's). Go Tigers !!
So Bregman is playing himself into Bellinger contract from last year. He has been mid to slightly above average since the juice ball year. Cintron STILL has his hitters unprepared. Natural skill only goes so far Hard to be too pissed at the starting Pitchers since they are all either injured or minor league caliber. The relievers should come along once some of these "starters" are in there eating some innings.
