dogs run around a look cute, cows eat all day. plus u need cows for milk. pet cows are too large. double cheeseburgers taste good.

not ugly dogs. Chickens are cute and chicks are cuter, they are also tasty. Double cheeseburgers are good. Veal is really good too. Dog stew is good too. We kill stray dogs all the time, why not feed them to the homeless? It's logical. Why do we eat some cute animals and not eat others? Are cultures that eat more types of food more civilized?
yes. look at america, we have all types of foods, arab, asian, mexican, junk, italian. and we're the most powerful country in the world for it. you can eat your dog, but i believe that's against the law. you can go to jail. you can go to hell if you eat pork or drink beer in other countries. see diversity>no diversity
the Salem witch trials were backwards. some dude pulls a rabbit out of his hat and he'll get burnt to the steak cause they think he's a witch. i'm pointing out that certain things can be explained. the government slapped some sense into these looneys and told them burning people who do magic tricks is unlawful and wrong and illogical. pork can be explained. there was bad pork, poorly preserved. same with shellfish, some people have ALLERGIES, which back in the day meant the devil was making them spasistic with hives, so people said, THOU SHALL NOT EAT SHELLFISH. this isnt ripley's believe or not.
So why don't we eat dog or goat? who's backwards, they countries that eat them or the countries that don't?
its not about the country, its about recognizing the origin of the religious belief behind them. is there some religion that you know that says that god told you to eat nor not eat dog? what was the origin of it? is there a religion saying that only a religious person can slaughter goats? and that the goats taste the same as ones slaughtered by another religion? there are LAWS that say you cant eat dogs. seperation of church and state, but Nyquil, we wont tell anyone if you do eat dogs, we'll just make sure our pets arent near you.

a lot of israelis and jews I know don't eat pork, not for religious reasons (they aren't very religious), but because they think the pig is a dirty animal. Are they in the same category as the muslims (I assume you think ALL of them don't eat pork for religious reasons). I still don't understand why you are whining so much, no one is telling you to stop eating delicious pork. (I had some sweet and sour pork last night, it's up there on my list of perfect foods).
only the rich eat at Olive Garden, PF Changs, Yao's restaurant, Udupi, etc etc. You dont see American peasants affording a plate of Shrimp Fried Rice. and just to prove that you know nothing about other countries, there are other cheaper varieties of foreign cuisine available in pakistan, and all over the world. You dont have to eat at KFC to eat american You mentioned different cuisines from different parts of the world. I doubt they serve Dog and Cat stew in America, I got to see it. Yet they still serve chinese food. And just as they dont serve sweet and sour pork in saudi, they do serve sweet and sour everything else including camel.
Many muslims ( who arent very religious at all) dont eat pork for the same reason ,that it is filthy.
I dont eat pork because my religion commands me to do it. I beleive in that religion and i will beleive everything that it commands me to do. Almost every religion has things that others will consider "weird or dumb". To me it makes sense why meat the meat i eat should be Halal. For my whole life i ate halal, and when i went to college i found it difficult to get halal meat so i ate out just like everyone else. Now that i have a car i can eat halal again, i dont go back to it because of a different taste or anything. I go back to is because it makes sense to me that I should do things for God. What was the point of this? i dunno, just like i dont see a point to the thread. BTW how bout dem longhorns!
