Extremely dangerous move by Palin if true -- not taking advantage of the world class health care we have in Texas (namely Houston) -- Gov. Nitika Palin chose instead to risk the health of her new child -returning- to Alaska so she could give birth in a frontier barn hospital.

What a stupid, stupid comment. I have been to Alaska. They have cities. Those cities have hospitals. It isn't like giving birth on the set of Deadwood. You clearly have no point of reference.

This is the smartest thing I have read in this forum in a long time. In an election cycle where I thought we were going to have a civil debate of issues, we seem to have regressed.

I think it shows her bad judgment, because NO DOCTOR on earth would let a woman who's water broke fly another 8 hours to deliver the baby somewhere else just because she wanted it to be born in another state. That is the most irresponsible thing a mother could do at that point in their childs life!

Funny how in that article that no one noticed that she was about to give birth or that her water broke.
