Palin Attacks coming...questions birth of Down Syndrome Child

    Take it with a grain of salt:

    STUNNING RUMOR: MCCAIN'S VP CHOICE MAY HAVE HID DAUGHTER'S PREGNANCY … CLAIMED THE BABY AS HER OWN!!!!!!

    August 30, 2008. The presidential campaign has just turned into a soap opera. ************.com is hearing rumors that John McCain’s VP pick, Sarah Palin , may have a scandal in her past. Word is coming from MTO readers in Alaska (yeah, we got readers in Alaska) and from a bunch of left-wing bloggers that McCain’s VP may have hid her daughter’s pregnancy. And that the child which she claims is hers, might actually be her daughter’s.

    Here’s a report (excerpted from the popular blog The Moderate Vpoice):

    [Governor Palin’s] oldest girl is rumored to have actually been the one who had the last baby, the one with Down’s Syndrome. She was taken out of school the last 4 or 5 months of her mother’s pregnancy.

    On March 5th, 2008 Alaska’s Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44.

    Palin’s daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono.

    Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months.


    And there’s more – check out the photo above taken with Palin’s daughter having a bulge in her stomach. And the below pic shows the governor when she was supposedly 6 months pregnant.

    And even more. Since these rumors have begun circulating, the Alaska Department of State has taken down ALL PHOTOS of the governor and her family from the state’s website.

    Now y’all know that we’re not knocking the lady for trying to protect her daughter. But if you have that kind of scandal in your recent past, you really have no business running for vice president. If that’s what she wanted to do, she could have done like Janet and Rebe and just stayed out of the limelight for a minute…..

    Anyway, even though the mainstream press is too chicken to report on this, ************.com has learned that The National Enquirer is all over this one. Expect the scandal to get bigger (if it is true) in coming weeks…

    I'm guessing there's a reason. I've never heard of it before though so I doesn't hold any real credibility for me. If it leads to something and the DNC and the major media outlets pick up on it, that's a different story. But you did say to take it with a grain of salt.

    I successfully lobbied to have that piece of sh-t site blocked years ago - it's pure trash, think Hoo-psworld crossed with Nat'l Enquirer and was cluttering up GARM/NBA dish with stupid threads.

    someone on another board posted a PR photo she took with her family in March of this year when she was allegedly 7-months pregnant and she was most certainly not preggers.... i don't really know much more about it, but it was odd.

    This story is all over the place now -- if it does happen to be true there is no way they will be able to keep it under wraps.

    a lot of people do read that blog and will probably believe it.

    Someone from the Hospital would talk if it was true. This would be a huge cover-up that would include the entire state of Alaska if it was true. I'm not sure if even Palin could cover it up. So which mainstream media outlet will report it first? My guess..NBC/MSNBC.

    I thought I heard a story that her water broke while giving a speech in Texas. She finished the speech anyway, flew back to Alaska, and gave birth there.

    Regardless, it's absurd that I'm even dignifying this type of slime with a response. If the Dem surrogates want to make her newborn with Down Syndrome a campaign issue(and idiots like CNN's John Roberts and ABC's Bill Weir already have), go right ahead. McCain will win in a landslide once women voters hear about it.

    LOL, yes because there's nothing that hardcore Hilary feminists like more than to hear about her hardline anti-choice views on abortion, which is the context in which it was brought up.

    Anybody who thinks Palin is going to attract liberal women voters has already been proving wrong. Better hope for her to attract the hard right evangels to allow McCain to not have to worry about safe states that Obama could steal in the south.

    Even if this were true, anybody really want to out some 16 year old's pregnancy? Politically, journalistically, is this even really worth knowing?

    You don't think it would be worth the public knowing if a Governor of a state didnt have the character to tell the truth about her daughter's teenage pregnancy and went so far as to LIE and say it was her own to cover it up? :eek: Can you say ETHICS? :rolleyes:

    Maybe this is just slime, and I dont think Dems need it to win...but if it has any truth, since flying from Texas after your water broke doesn't seem to make sense either...and along with her firing of the ex of her sister....she and McCain are TOAST!

    If any of this was true, it would be the biggest political disaster in history...bigger than Watergate!

    I highly doubt this is true.

    Even if it is her daughter's it just makes her look better, though it doesn't give Palin any more experience.
