Just to make heads explode. There approximately 209 million people in the U.S over 18. Less than that have voting rights. If you paid people 10$ to vote. The turnout would double imo. 2 billion dollars every 2 years is nothing money To the government. Then we would get a more accurate view of the will of the voters. Rocket River
I'm still not seeing where you are finding less than 105,000,000 registered. When I googled: "In 2018, there were 153.07 million people registered to vote in the United States. Although this was an increase from 1996, when 127.66 million people were registered to vote, it’s lower than the peak of 157.6 million registered voters in 2016."
You said there were 209 million people eligible to vote and less than half have voting rights. I assumed you meant were registered to vote. What did you mean by voting rights? Also...with at least 153 million voting in 2016, clearly over 1/2 have voting rights. What link are you using?
If people are too lazy and need to be payed to vote I don't want them voting. That's the last people I want weighing in on what's good for America.
