So what should of the Kings done? left their bench in the game and watch you guys chip away at the score until their was a chance that it could go into overtime or lose? No... Aldeman did what ANY good coach should do.. the bench was not producing, he pulled them and put back in the squad that was.. Call it padding if you want, I call it insurance. They did not run the score up any hirer than it was.. We are playing for the first spot in the west and a ring. And as far as Webber getting a trip dub, he got it by rebounding the ball... What should of he done, just let the rebound go? I do not agree with the second call that got Steve ejected from the game, but the bottom line is, he was. That should not be used as an excuse. you have 11 more pros on that team that should of stepped up in his place. We lost Webber in the first minute of a game against Phoenix and everyone else stepped up and we won.. We have played about 15 games this year without Webber and still came out with a winning percentage, everyone else stepped up. we have lost Peja for a few games and still won.. So I can not feel sorry for you guys that are blaming the loss on Steve being gone or you guys being pissed because Aldeman put his starters back in..

A quote from The Sacramento Bee:

Adelman didn't plan on giving Webber the chance for this triple double. The Kings led by as much as 96-72 late in the third quarter. Webber had played all 36 minutes through three quarters and was slated to sit out the fourth.

But Sacramento's defense became ineffective and was accented by an offense that did not move the ball or moved the ball too much, or just missed shots or turned the ball over before it had a chance.

"I was going to give (the starters) a little more rest," Adelman said. "But we didn't do the things we have been talking about, like moving the ball and trusting each other on offense instead of trying to do everything individually. When the lead got to 12, that was it."

Good luck for the rest of the season guys.

Only a couple people complained that they were trying to run up the score, but most of understand you have to put your starters in to besure to win the game. Id rather see my team run up a score than to let the scrubs in and them make a come back.

Its silly to complain about running up the score. A win is a win, regardless of the score.

Adleman did what he had to do. I was not offended at all. If anything it was a testiment to how ALL of our team refused to give up. That attitude will carry us a long way this year and next.

ROckets03 is right in that we already are stepping up due to the loss of Hakeem. And considering how the rest of team played once Francis was ejected, I'd say we did a respectable job.

You have to admit though, if it weren't for that incredible first quarter you guys may have let this one slip away. We shot, what, 53 or 56 percent. We scored well over a hundred. Any other team and we win that game. And if you guys were playing any other team then it would have been a 30 or 40 point blowout. I'm sure Portland would have given up (or choked) before the quarter even ended! You guys were spectacular, no doubt. Your guys were in a team zone that very few teams get to experience. I doubt the Kings will have another quarter like that any time soon.

There were so many positives for our team to take away from that game. The fact that we refused to give up was just awesome. Now we forget about it and take care of business with the Clips, Sonics, and Jazz.

Who knows SandB/Bill, we may see each other again. Doubtful, but it is possible.

And don't forget about loosing Cuttino as well. That is our three best players and 60% of our staring squad.

Hey buddy not all of think that Kings ran up the score. I understand that our scrubs were making your scrubs look like...well scrubs. So that coach of your had to put in the starters.

As for us getting over the loss of Francis, we have also lost Hakeem. I would like to see your freakin Kings beat the Suns without your first best player (Webb) and your second best (Pedra). We already were without Hakeem, and that worthless Kennedy took away Francis as well [IMG].
