Some of you might remember my incident last summer. Well, it's been interesting, but mostly good.

I would like to do something about the 80% of the clothes I am not wearing right now. I have already donated a bunch, which included a rediculous amount in the attic.

Anyways, what are some good tips on not just moving them, but storing them for long periods of time? My son has clothes I would like to hold on to.

There are plastic storage bins and air-tight plastic. Haven't had much luck finding the bags.

    Can you offer any suggestions?

    One more try.

Somebody out there has to have mastered the art of packing.

It really matters what they are made out of. For most synthetic fibers like polyester blends are safe if you keep them away from light and dust. I deal with alot of antique clothes, and when that is the case you have to worry about moths.

If that is an issue I can give you some really detailed tips.

Also, the atic might not be the best because it will subject them to extreme changes in temprature between summer and winter. The ideal would be keep out of light and minimise temprature and humidity changes. But like I said, things with synthetic fibers fare better.
