Chris Webber may have had an off night, but his ball hogging teammate Peja Stojakovic did not help at all. Hey Peja PASS the BASKETBALL as Ainge said over and over again.

I think the Kings quit tonight, and their team has reached the high point in terms of being a good team. It is likely to go down for them. They can't beat the Lakers, so they need to break it up. JWIll may leave.

Come down south C-WEB, a bright future, a player's coach, a nice pracitce facility, and a new arena on the way.

And it is not the pressure of NY. Houston is the perfect fit.

And we got great food, players who can relate to you, Steve and Cat, your favorite backcourt.

Just don't make a move on Beyonce without talking to Steve first. We don't need a Kidd/Jackson/Mashburn thang goin' down. [IMG]

    AMEN, brotha!!! ... or sister!

Ooh, Peja Stojakovic is such an ugly ball-hog that I root against him whenever the Kinds play. I swear, he NEVER PASSES THE FREAKIN BALL!

I'm not sure how it happened, but I believe one of them dated a girl once, another cheated with that same girl, and another flirted with that same girl.

    Must have been some woman.

If I recall correctly, that woman was Toni Braxton, so yes, she was/is some woman.

This is my favorite NBA gossip story, so I'm happy to retell it.

As the never-confirmed (but very believable [IMG] ) legend has it, Kidd used the typical NBA-star perks to get in touch with Braxton, who invited him to visit the studio where she was recording when the Mavs came through town on a road trip. She promised to send a limo to pick him up.

So Kidd waits in his hotel room on the appointed day ... and waits, and waits. The call from the front desk (that there's a limo waiting for him) never comes. So time passes, and the Mavs move on to the next city.

Soon thereafter, Kidd gets a phone message from Braxton. "I hope you're feeling better," she says. "And it was so sweet of you to send your teammate Jim Jackson in your place." (Apparently Jackson had spotted the limo and intercepted it, claiming that Kidd was sick.)

And from that moment on, Kidd and Jackson couldn't play together on the court. [IMG]
