Indiana is playing Minny without Artest/O'Neal/Jackson, yet they're still on top by 9. These guys have insane depth, and they'll be even better when O'Neal and Jackson come back.
You gotta be rooting for these guys. They sign 3 dudes off the street and go out and punk the Wolves with MVP Garnett. I think David Stern would like for them to win as well. If they are successful without the multi millionaire salary cap space eaters, then Stern may have even more leverage in negotiating with the Player's Union. I'd like to see them win, just to prove to the world that basketball is indeed a team game, and the best teams win, not the best individual players. And wouldn't Tinsley look good in Rocket Red? Yeah, I know it will never happen but we could dream. I thought he was mediocre to poor a couple years ago but it looks like he has really toughened up and is the glue holding them together.
Yeah, I had to look twice when I saw his line for tonight..20 points, 14 assists and 7 boards. And I think he's hit 14 assists already this season...
