How many of you really think the trade is on hold because of what Francis said? Which players were happy to be traded to a lottery team from a playoff team, and when such trades didnt go through because the players involved didnt want to play for the new team? IMO, Magic is obviously anting up the stakes for T-MAC. First, they said deal depended on whether Reese Gaine was picked up by Bobcats, which had no intension to do so. Why did the trade detail was leaked out if Reese Gaine was such critical piece in the deal. Obviously, by doing so, Magic puposely left the door open for other offers before the expansion draft. Also obviouly, no teams bid up. Now, Magic is agian holding the deal, saying Francis is the one it is not sure about. Comeon, regardless, he has 5 year locked up in vault for crying-out-loud. I am not buying it. I am not too worried about what Suns will have to offer, because I dont think Tmac will want a long term contract there. Plus, even with JJ+Marion+7th pick in the deal, Magic might still not like it. They need a decent center obviously. How good is JJ anyways? I am worried about Pacers, though. Because, I dont think Tmac would object going to Indiana. If Bird decisides to sweeten the deal by adding Artest, I am really worried. Let's cross finger pray that Pacers wouldnt give up Artest!
