The Rockets have no need for Croshere anymore, unless Mo is not coming back. With at least 4 and maybe 6 going to be on the roster, we do not need to bring in more. I think the only way Dream will be S&Traded to Indy is if a third team gets involved.

The Rockets already have 4 or 5 Small forwards either on the roster or waiting to be resigned.

Why they'd want Croshere is beyond me! [IMG]

Unless it was to unload Cato [IMG]

Croshere definately did not have a great year, and his biggest downside is his new contract!!!!

But with the new zone defense, he can hit those open three's (just as good as anybody on our team). The only thing I like about his game, is that he hustles for every rebound. Which is something that Taylor won't (or can't) do. If we could unload Cato in the S&T, I would take Croshere's contract anyday over Cato's.

Why would the Rockets want Croshere? He makes MORE money than Hakeem, and plays SF. If they end up trading Hakeem for Croshere, then I will have to vote Carrol Dawson as the stupidest GM of the year. Well, maybe of the month, seeing as he got Eddie...

Croshere is not a 3-point shooter. He cannot hit them near as well as the others SFs on out team. He is probably about as good as Shandon at shooting 3's. I don't see how he helps us out with the zone. I don't think the zone is going to have as much effect on teams as some think, so we don't need to build our team to compete against it.

I dont care if get rid of Cato in that deal too. I dont want Croshere! We already have Maurice, Kenny, Griffin, Langhi, Walt, and Terrence as our forwards!

If the Rockets could dump Cato for Croshere in the S&T, then I think it would be worth it. As far as 3 point shooting, he is shooting at .338 which is just under our main 3 point shooters (francis, mobley, bullard & walt). But compared to Shandon (.271), Thomas (.272) and Taylor (.000), he would be an improvement. Plus he could play some backup 4 for the Rockets.

I personally do not think Hakeem is going to leave (right ZRB??). This is just a PR stunt by Feagan to give Hakeem some headline news and make the Rockets sweat out the PR nightmare.

Look at Webber, he probably knew he would take the money and run. But he made all the headlines for weeks (which I am sure his ego loved!!!). Cuttino did the same thing last year, he received major PR when Carter was courting him, and delayed his decision for weeks. Hakeem just wants to feel needed, AND FEAGAN WANTS TO MAKE SURE TO DRAIN THE ROCKETS FOR EVERY PENNY HE CAN GET!!!!.

I think that Feagan is going to want all three of his clients (HAKEEM, ANDERSON & MOOCH) to split all of the Rockets cap. As far as Taylor, he is not Feagan's client, so Feagan could give a ****!!! what happens to him!!! Its sad, but probably the truth!!!

I read that article a lot different then most of you. Almost everything in the article you could have read from another article over the last couple days. The Croshere reference was true a year ago, remember he was in when he was a free agent. It did not say that the Rockets had an interest "now". I think a writer set in his office and wrote an article by reading other articles. Worked better before the internet.

I don't know if we still want or need Croshere. Probably if we let Mo walk (Detroit?) Or some S & T involving several players (Dream. KT? Etc.) Croshere is, of course, a tweener, but he's tough, and would be a good option at the 4/3 spots.
