Pacers president Donnie Walsh has laughed off Croshere leaving via free agency saying, that few teams could meet his asking price, and Austin is touring teams out of courtesy, and he is more inclined to returning to the Pacers. Pacers GM David Kahn says he has not been contacted by anyone regarding Austin in trade, and all of the teams he has visited are over the cap, and would need a deal through Indiana to land him and they weren't agreeable to that.

I don't know if this is just a front by the Pres of the Pacers.

Gosh-Dangit The Rockets Are Screwed we probably wouldnt be able to sign anybody by the start of the season -which might be good . I think the Rockets need to sit back and let Steve Francis know that this his team and we want him to run it , rushing out to grab the big free agent at all costs shows that we dont have enough confidence in him . If let Stevie play his role as Point Guard this year maybe he can learn to make less mistakes and come into a leadership role . So when we get a good draft pick or free agent next year Steve will have no problem adjusting .
