Jermaine O'Neal and Amare Stoudamire are both beasts. Now if the Pacers could fill the gaping hole at small forward caused by the simultaneous loss of Artest, 6th man swing guy Steven Jackson, and injured backup 3/4 Jonathan Bender, they might gain some ground fast. At least Michael Curry finally lost the honor of starting at the 3. Somebody did hold Q to 0-11.
Steve Nash went down early, and the Suns never had a chance after that. And how bad a shooter is Q. Richardson?
Yeah, the Suns are having a great year, but this talk of a 70 win season is just silly. Gotta give it up to the Pacers, though. Carlysle(sp?) might be coach of the year for keeping that team in the thick of it.
game plan for next Rox-Suns match: put Deke's elbow on Nash's nose. we could swept that team if follow my plan
Actually, Sun is on their last legs, after running full steam for the half season, they are headed for a crash landing.
The axiom, "without Nash the suns are a mediocre team", somewhat held true today. The looked lost with Nashy out there. Dallas misses Nash a lot too. Marbury is not the best PG when I think about it again.
It was amazing to see the Suns play without Nash. He really is the head on that beast. Cut off the head and the beast runs around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Here's a game for you though. Tonight the Suns go right back at it playing the Washington Wizards. Should be an up and down track meet! If the Suns arent careful and dont get Nash back they could be in for a few more losses coming up. They have a brutal schedule. Perhaps the wear and tear is starting to catch up with them. Oh, and I dont know who said it about Amare being better than Jermaine O'neal. He isnt. Maybe he will be in the future. But Amare is a terrible defender and a mediocre passer. Things that O'neal does very well in addition to scoring. Oneal was awesome in this game. O'neal's stats over the last bunch of games has been impressive. Didnt he have a 55pt game not to long ago? He really looks fresh out there. Maybe that "mini vacation" will serve his legs well as the season goes on. He looks VERY determined!
No, I don't hate Suns, they are a good entertainment team. And I always say: May the best team win ! But anyone who thinks Amare is leading the Suns are blinded by the sun....... That, including Amare himself.
