Oh, that's easy. Dio was/is the better, more powerful singer but Osborne created the best songs. I much prefer Dio's singing, but in my list of top 10 Sabbath songs, Ozzy sings on 7-8 of them. I have more "favorite" Sabbath CDs with Ozzy than Dio, but my all-time favorite is Heaven and Hell (makes sense, Dio only did 2 CDs with them, I think). Dio's stuff with Rainbow and solo is excellent, also, but Ozzy's solo stuff is no slouch, either (Mr. Crowleyyyyyy)
Bingo. Ozzy's stuff is really awesome, but Dio is the greatest metal vocalist of all time. Paranoid and Master of Reality are amazing albums with incredible songs, but Dio is still a better singer. He's just so AWESOME. I chose Houston over both Austin AND College Station. There are no Rockets or Astros or Cougars in Austin.
LOL this guy disagrees Love both of them, they both have their + and -, so I am gonna have to abstain from voting.
I predict Ozzy wins by a landslide, but you cannot deny the greatness of Dio. I mean, 'Holy Diver' alone.... f uck. I'll be real honest: I didn't know that Black Sabbath had more than one lead singer. I've never even heard of the other guy, yet I somehow know that Van Halen has had (at least) three lead singers.
Sabbath has had 5 singers to be precise(just counting the ones who actually have album credits) Ozzy RJD Ian Gillian Glenn Hughes Tony Martin and 4 others who for one reason or the other didn't make an album with the group.
