A few years ago, I came across this remix on the radio, and heard it maybe 2 times. It seemingly vanished without a trace, and I finally stumbled upon it. I hadn't looked for it in stores, just figured that the radio or youtube would have something on it...but not much it seems. Anyway, feel free to add a song that moves you, is overlooked, rare, whatever. Nothing too common. This could be interesting. DMC's story is very interesting to me, I read up on it last night. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1484431/20040116/dmc.jhtml
I have that game somewhere, but it's been so long, I don't remember much about it. Thanks for the site link, there's lots of stuff there that I'll check out.
Interesting aside: Both DMC and Sara McLaughlin were adopted, which is how they got together for that song.
Actually, she didn't tell him about her being adopted until after they had gotten together to make the song. He's said that he had suicidal thoughts and once he heard Sarah's "Angel" on the radio, he was inspired to live on. He bought everything that Sarah had at that time, and for a whole year listened to nothing but that. Coincidently, he was brought along to a Grammy party, which he had no interest in going to, and met Sarah there. He told her his story and how her music changed his life. She told him thanks, and that is what music is supposed to do. So, he wanted to make a song about his life, to help others. He finds out, while asking about his childhood (for the song), that he was adopted. He contacts Sarah three years after they met, and she agreed to do the song with him, where she tells him that she was also adopted. Very interesting. There is a 4 part interview on Youtube where he talks about it. "DMC Darryl mcdaniels Interview"
Yea that story about DMC and Sarah McLachlan was very cool. In keeping with the thread topic, I'll add any song by Leonard Cohen as well as the Genesis album, "A Trick of the Tail" - an absolute masterpiece that is criminally underrated, IMO.

Used to play that game, one of my all-time favs. Song doesn't so to bad remixed. Almost like a fast elevator music.
