Juding by this first preseason it seems like we really have a lot of talent. When we have all our pieces together we are going to be scary.

    pf-taylor
    c-ming

bench: griffin, cato, rice, norris, morris

If Taylor and Rice can ever be 100% again and morris has really improved since last year, then we are a team to reckon with.

I know it's WAY too early to be saying this, one game into freaking Preseason, but I find it unreal how it seems EVERYONE on the roster has improved (or shown signs of being as good as advertised in the case of the two rookies.) This is prompted by Morris' good game against Memphis. I honestly think the only thing that will hold Morris back from having a breakout year is playing time.

Naturally, media likes to be optimistic. And Rice and Taylor have yet to be seen in preseason action, of course, but there's been reason to hope they can rise to the occasion too. I don't want to be too much of a sunshine @$$ (too late), but I honestly feel like everyone with a guaranteed contract on our roster right now (with the exception of our much-abused big man JC) is showing they deserve minutes. I guess we're seeing the fruit of genuine competition between players for PT.
