Going to go with the under, but just barely. The key is "rewarded by the refs", otherwise, we could be talking double digits.
I think we will see the first ever T on a flop because the refs are now wise to the utah jazz game plan
I'm going to say Okur flops twice and draws 1 offensive foul on Yao, the 2nd time it might not be called... but being in Utah who knows. Kirilenko is guaranteed to flop at least once, Williams or Brewer probably 1 between the both of them. I'll take the under and say 4 flops go in their favor.
There will be an Okur flop while Yao is posting for position that WILL be called on Yao. There will be AK47 going for the ball that he realistically has no chance at and will flail uncontrollably that will probably be rewarded(80% chance) with a call. Okur will also be out of position for a rebound that is way too high over his head and he will flop forward like Scola/Hayes pushed him in the back and that will be a loose ball foul on the Rockets. AK47 will pull off his best Chris Paul imitation on a drive to the bucket where "minimal contact" would be more than there actually is and get a foul on a Rocket. Ronnie Brewer and Matt Harpring will both attempt to draw a foul on Yao as he is crossing the lane for position. They will also attempt to flop while setting a screen on a Rocket that gets a bit physical with them.
There will be at least 10 instances where you can look at it and say OBVIOUS flop. How many the refs actually call or benefit the Jazz is another question. But 5 is close, it is on national TV so they might be a bit more wary.
Yeah, it's on national TV so they are only going to save them until the big moments when they really need it much like they do in the playoffs.
