I think this topic has been brought up ad nauseum, but for the record, I live in Provo, Utah. However, I'm from Pasadena and I'll be moving back to Texas after school, but it's looking more like San Antonio or Austin rather than Houston.
sorry, i didn't want anyone to blow chunks on my account. anyway, i grew up in houston but have been living in nyc for nine years. i have obviously not stopped following the rockets. i just don't know too many fans up here so i tune in to this forum. just wanted to see who else might be in the same boat. also, i haven't seen the multitudes of other threads related to this topic so forgive.
Ditto. Grew up in Houston, UT grad, now i'm in NYC. There are several others in NYC. Off the top of my head: Across 178th St Munco I forget the others. I've been wanting to organize something at a sports bar but I haven't had the time. Any ideas anyone? We should really have a NYC e-mailing list to coordinate sports bar outings for some of the bigger games this year. (particularly for the ones not on national tv).
I live in Brooklyn, NY. Definitely a lot of fans in NY. I remember last year when the Rox came to the Garden there was a section of people rooting for Moochie. Regarding the NYC rockets fans bar meet, i'm definitely down. I no longer have a gf to force games upon so I could use people to watch games with on occassion. btw, i bought my tix when the Rox visit the Knicks on January 7th. here's my name if anyone wants to start a list: prefixmagazine@yahoo.com
I'll be down with that too. I also bought tickets to the Nets (Nov)and Knicks (Jan) game when the Rox come to town. This will be the first time I see them outside the Compaq Center.
Also born and raised in Houston. Been living in NYC for 4 months. Please include me on a mailing list if one is started. Thanks.
Awesome seeing so many NYC Rocket Fans! I live in Queens and am trying to figure out how to get NBA TV on Time Warner NYC. I teach 7th Grade in Brooklyn and have a big Yao Ming banner in my classroom. The kids love it!
