I cant belive that the Rockets organization actually believes that we have good looking uni's (Unless of course you like cartoons and Pajamas). Lets just jump on the bandwagon? Thats why were stuck with the comical, laugahable, uniiforms we have now. Les wanted to be hip, so he followed a bunch of expansion Franchises into Goofyville, and now were the only team left suspended in tacky cartoon animation. It's pretty much been downhill, success wise, for this team since the change of colors. Bring back the Red n' Gold for Godssake. ------------------

This was my message: To whom it may concern: I read recently in the Houston Chronicle that the Rocket organization was very happy with the current uniform design and colors. I have to say that myself and many other Rocket fans are not satisfied with the status quo and would like to request a change. Any change would be greatly appreciated, as the current clown suits make watching a Rocket game look more like a circus act. In addition I would like for the organization to include the word HOUSTON in the name. We are not the USA Rockets, we are the HOUSTON Rockets. Wow, another "Our uniforms suck" thread!! This is almost enough to make me want to see the good ole "Get rid of Rudy" threads... Oh, and I don't know if we really "copied" Toronto or Vancouver on the loud uniforms. The Jetson PJ era started in the '95-96 season, which means that the Rockets had to file for a big uniform change by December of '93, which was well before either Toronto or Vancouver joined the league...Now, I don't know when the actual DESIGN was created, but I'm sure that the Rockets PR staff weren't making a lot of calls to British Columbia asking, "Yo, got any ideas on our uniforms?? Ironically, I always thought the Clippers had pretty cool unis...That script on the front of the Jerseys looks pretty slick... ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
