I've thought about this topic since it's just a few days before deadline...It's not really a random trade idea but players who can be on the block... Here's mine: Battier,Alston,Head,Landry,Dorsey,TMac

tmac is hardly an asset. he's not in his contract year until next year and his value is at all-time low. My guess is Head is gone by trade deadline.

I'd say that T-Mac, Head, Alston and Artest are guys the Rockets might look to move. Realistically though I'd guess that Head is the only one likely to go before the trading deadline. T-Mac's numbers and play this season are mediocre so he's a terrible value in terms of his salary. Plus his contract doesn't expire until 2010. Alston's been mediocre for his entire career and it's tough to trade PG's for PG's, which the Rockets definitely need so he'd only go as part of a package/multi-team deal. Artest has had his injuries and bad games this season.

how is rafer a chip for trading, he's just a guy on our team, not many teams want him. Id be ecstatic with Luke Ridnour for head and alston bc the bucks need a 2 guard

Other than T Mac, now everybody is a definitely trade asset. That's huge. It's a great job of management. No garbage contracts at all. Even SF3 could be an asset.

Opps! I forgot they already waived 3 or 4 guys last year.

I don't anyone will agree to that for the following reason. Rafer's inconsistent shooting more than anything else. Battier also hasn't played well this year and his limitations on the offensive end are noticeable despite his defense and smarts.

Everybody that wants battier traded are IDIOTS. Head and dorsey are the only two i would trade unless a great pt gard could be had for alston and a combination of the other two listed above.

Artest.... no, people complain about this team being soft and you want to trade the only toughness we got? Shane needs to go before Artest. Refer back to the Boston game for what he means to this team, a physical like playoff game is where he will shine.

    Head and Dorsey.

Even if we can somehow dump Rafer, Morey probably won't do it risking chemistry.
