With Rice now in the fold, how is our starting lineup gonna look? I want EG to start at the 3 spot but can we have Rice come off the bench? Its definitely alot of money to pay someone who is gonna come off the bench.

Is there any way we could possibly start Rice at the 2? I'm sure Mobley is gonna mind a little, but think of the advantage we have over most every other 2 in the league except against Kobe, Iverson or even Jordan.

I think we should get our money's worth; thats all i'm trying to say.

I personally like the trade, but the biggest problem i see Rudy having is managing all the egos and minutes. Dont get me wrong; Mobley is a class-act. My worry is that Glen Rice might have to be on the lookout for a few fists thrown from EG ROFLOL

Seriously, i want EG to get alot of minutes this year. I would love to see a lineup of

    Cato C
    Taylor Pf
    EG Sf
    Rice Sg
    Francis Pg

Unless we could somehow Put Mo at the 5 spot and help him with the zone. I sure hope Rudy has got this figured out cuz Mobley needs his minutes as well.

i think that putting mobley back on the bench only hinder the type of team we have. mobley was the 6th man 2 years ago when shandon was starting but he soon took that spot b/c he deserved it. putting the cat back on the bench only sets us back as i see it. starting griffin was something i wanted him to do also, but i think he can be a great 6th man for now until his game is more polished. yep we should get our money's worth but if that was the case, cato should have panned out by now. we're still getting our money's worth out of rice b/c i think rudy will start him at the 3. i think if we actually do trade the wizard for white (not likely though imo), our lineup would be.

    C-White
    PF-Taylor
    SF-Rice
    SG-Mobley
    PG-Francis

But i see it more like this when the game gets underway:

    C-Taylor
    PF-Griffin
    SF-Rice
    SG-Mobley
    PG-Francis

that would be a potent offensive line. albeit small and a defensive liability, but this lineup will definitely keep opposing defenses honest b/c any of the 5 guys can score at will.

Getting Rice will sorta be like having the veteran on the team that they are currently lacking. Hakeem leaves and Bullard will probly leave :( so basically it'll be up to the young bucks. Rice, i imagine it, will put up 13-16 points a game. He can still shoot. I would rather see him shoot than to see shandon anderson drive down on a fastbreak either 1.losing the ball b/c his ball handling skills are horrendous or 2.missing the layup.
