Alright, so we are going to be facing the Cavs tommorow. How are we going to settle our minutes with our team? We have Rafer and Barry both back which should atleast combine for 30 minutes. Explain.
Barry was 2-2 from down town? I think Brooks should start and Rafer from the bench, that means no Head for sure. Barry should sub McGrady, Artest should sub Battier.
Barry actually was 1-1 from downtown, another shot from the field. And Von's back in the lineup and scored 4 points in 3 minutes. No head means we're stronger.
Barry should not be in the rotation. If anyone is going to get his minutes, it should be Head. There is no need for Barry.
Rafer - 22 minutes (all at 1) Brooks - 28 minutes (4 at 2) Barry - 6 minutes (all at 2) McGrady - 32 minutes (all at 2) Artest - 29 minutes (2 at 2, 2 at 4) Battier - 27 minutes (4 at 2) I want to start seeing more of the McGrady/Battier/Artest combo at 2/3/4.
Head should not be in the NBA. If anyone is going to get his minutes, it should be me. There is plenty of need for head, but no need for Head. P.S. - I really, really, really hate seeing Luther in the game. Barry hasn't been all that, but he's been injured so I'll give him a chance for now.
Why? Based on their playoff experience or performance? I would be interested to hear your reasons for that.
I know few will agree with this but this is the rotation I think we should have every game when everybody is healthy: Brooks - Alston McGrady - Barry or Wafer Battier - Artest Landry - Scola - Hayes Yao - ??? The only reason I think Battier should start is that he would lose a lot of his value playing without Yao on the court. It's more of a knock on his offensive weaknesses than credit for anything else. Artest should be getting 30-35 mpg one way or the other. And, of course, we still need a backup C.
Maybe keep brooks at the starter with Rafer coming in afterwards and then distribute minutes based on whose hot?
