We've been saying it all year, and we have to do it now. Our interior team defense is way too slow with Yao being the only shot blocker in there. Chuck Hayes and Shane Battier aren't nearly big enough or strong enough for the real PF's in this league. Also, it gets Yao in foul trouble, Plus exhaustion.

We need a real strong, banger time of PF to guard other team's big men, and really compliment Yao better than what we have now.

We need a coach who knows offense, not only defense.

    Yao is our power forward.

He's been defending Boozer the whole series.

May be we just need Yao to lose 8 inches and 70 pounds so he can gain the 2 steps needed to play the position.

    David Lee, get it done

    David Lee, get it done

I'm willing to trade Shane Battier and Chuck Hayes for him and a backup pg. Based on the number of rebounds and hustle post plays we missed, we need him sorely.

That's what we need...poor, poor decision on Bonzi...I am positive he could've made a difference.

    The only qualifications required:
    *Better than JHo?
    *Better than Hayes?

    Free Agency:
    PJ Brown
*plays defense, can put up points, not given the credit he deserved for his part in Hornets playoff appearance last season.

    Trade:
    Walter Herrmann
-had a mini-Sura (when he went trip-dub with the Hawks) like season ending for the Bobcats. Shoots 3's, plays defense, is a NBA starter today.

    Donyell Marshall
-shoots 3's, plays defense, is a NBA starter today.

funnily enough the rockets defense has been the real let down especially this game.

David Lee is just an upgraded Chuck Hayes. That was not going to put us over the top in the playoffs this year.

Hayes disappearing after the first two games really hurt us. His numbers are so much worse.

    PF and PG.

Deron Williams ran circles around Rafer Alston. Imagine what Baron Davis would have done.

If you look at the existing teams, everyone has a quick PG who can penetrate and pass or consistently make a jump shot.

    Utah- Deron Williams
    GS- Davis
    SA- Parker
    Phoenix - Nash

We will never advance unless we get more athletic at PG - someone who can break down the defense.

McGrady is too injury prone to do it for 40 minutes a game.

Before the series I would've said no way.

Now, I say we'd be getting ready for GS.

Exactly. Lee has no middle range game. Too small to guard the likes of Dirk, Sheed, Boozer, Okur.

Dude, if you trade Shane Battier, we'll be looking for another shooter next year. Shane played fantastic this series. David Lee is a good pickup, but it would have to come with keeping Shane.

No, to David Lee. We need to change the way the team plays offense. More motion in the offense and we shouldn't rely on the three pointer. If that changes Yao's role, then so be it.
