Everyones favorite coach and fearless leader gave an interview yesterday.

I just love when he talks basketball. :)

Anyway, you need the ever popular RealPlayer to listen to the interview.

I know that I am Gundys boyfriend and have professed my everlasting love for him so...I think I am going to renew our vows after hearing this. :p

I really like his comments that he is not going to let up and that the team needs to step up in the game thursday instead of being lazy as some teams become after a 2 - 0 lead. I am sure he has been pounding it into the minds of the whole team this whole week.

Also it's nice to see that T-Mac and JVG got together about not calling a timeout to let Dallas substitute defensive players and get the Rockets out of rythm.

It's great how he is saying that our bandwagon is full and Dallas' is empty right now but we can't let up because anyone can get up 2 - 0 and lose the games...

Finally...telling the fans to come and sit and cheer the team on. Saying how the REAL FAN's (upper deck) always come and cheer hard while the LOWER BOWL (Coorporate people) are always in the restuarants and bars and don't come down as much..and we need everyone there...

I thought it was going to be a full length interview with John Weisbrod.

You know, stupid can only take you so far in pro sports, stupid and athletic. You gotta be smart, and our basketball IQ this year compared to last year is much higher.

And then as [McGrady] got the ball more in Orlando, what I noticed, I could not believe what a great passer he was.

Even last year when his intensity waned and he didn't play as hard as he would have [liked?]...you know and he's admitted he didn't play as hard as he should have...his passing was tremendous; he really could see. We needed that. We needed a guy who could pass the ball.

Around the 12:57 mark coach starts talking about fan support for the team in Houston.

Ummm, yeah. We have an interesting arena in that it's very plush so that a lot of people in the lower bowl don't come for a while. The upper deck is filled and the lower bowl, they're in these restaurants and things like that so I think the normal fan really likes our team.

So your message is going to be, "Hey you guys, get out and get in your seats before the game starts".

I would like that, becuase you know what? Our guys would like that.

Can't the lard assess get their food before the game starts and be back in their seats in time for the starting lineup?

That two-timing little midget! That's it, I'm done with him. Unless he gets us to the WCF.
