Anything particularly interesting about the video? I don't want to watch it, if its just watching a horrible moment I'd rather get out of my memory.
FWIW, I consider game three against Utah in 1998 the real end of the original Big Three era. Wish someone would upload that.
For that putrid moment, they got the soundtrack right. It's like Enya meets earnest constipated singer guy.
Horrible game... But I love listening to that old school NBA on NBC song <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/V_h7Lm7C9Nk&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/V_h7Lm7C9Nk&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
One interesting thing mentioned in the pre-game analysis is that Hakeem was averaging 30ppg in that series entering that game. They made a comment about it being a one-man show up to that point, saying "the team game always wins." I couldn't recall that at all.
Agreed, though I think you mean Game 4. The moment when Antoine Carr tore Barkley's triceps was probably the absolute turning point for the Houston Rockets as a franchise. Up 2-1 (in a best of 5), up 15. Barkley leaves the game and we haven't been relevant since.
I never saw that intro because I was at the game...and the fact that I was at the game has haunted me ever since. I can still see Stockton's 3 in my mind, from the exact angle of my seat I don't mean to derail, but there's an imbalance in the world after watching that video, and it must be fixed. (I still get emotional watching these...especially the one from '95 for some reason) <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rryd_lUtZ8I&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rryd_lUtZ8I&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xJ5tU2dWdzk&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xJ5tU2dWdzk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
why don't you post the halftime show of the Buffalo Houston game in the Houston Sports section while you're at it
Hey guys, have you seen this video yet? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WhDi0Ce_Z5w&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WhDi0Ce_Z5w&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
