Unless this is a "coming of age" phase our Center is a joke.
    He lacks KILLER INSTINCT

He is getting punked on National TV by the LAKERS.

Agreed. Yao is a joke. If Rockets dont trade him as soon as possible, the organisation is also a joke. Please make it come true.

Yao has been through 2 different systems, 2 different coaches and a couple dozen different players. At what point will some of you be willing and able to just admit that the problem may actually lie in the hands of the big fella?

Why must Yao bomb every other game.

He plays badly, people come down one him, and he comes back the next game. However, the following game he pulls a disappearing act and starts the cycle all over again.

It feels like Yao is the one that is 38 and Dikembe is in his early 20s sometimes.:(

the current team just does not have any flow. everybody just stand there like stick.

I am not defending yao. but he did not play this bad last season (when we had more energetic guys) or the season before (plus a better offensive coach).

this could be a broken year for yao. but I do not think he is solely responsible.

Yao has still got the flu. We've got 13 other players on this team and a crappy coach.

He is a broken man, he's lost all his creativity, passing and skills he had in his first year+

even when he plays good, it's not like what he used to be, JVG ruined him!!!

Stop making excuse for him. It's embarrassing. For god sake, please trade him as soon as possible. No need to ruin an organisation and a decent young man. Please make it come true.

Something is desperately wrong with Ming, either physically or mentally. Let the truth be told. The fans need to have some understanding of what's going on. Public humiliation of a human being is not what I want from my sports experience. If Ming needs treatment of some kind, remove him from the lineup until he gets well. This is too sad to watch somewhat who looks so incapable of even the basic fundamentals of the game. If you are unable to play, I don't want to see you play. Get well and come back. If I am JVG, Ming does not play the second half, or for that matter until he is fully recovered.

Perhaps its time to trade Yao to the Lakers for Odom, Grant, and draft picks? Or perhaps trade him to a team with an up-and-coming center?

I am sort of getting pissed at Yao's performance right now, as he was the reason I signed up on this board two years ago...

Back off. I wasn't directing anything at you. I'm only talking about this game. Of course he looks like crap and is still sick.

You Yao haters amaze me. Wait till you see him bust ass for a real coach from another team and you'll wish we had hiim back and JVG gone.

F off JVG and Ewing - You've softened our Ming.

This is a poor excuse to blame JVG and EWING he gives Yao just as much flexibility to play on the court, You cannot blame a coach because a player drags his feet up and down the court...

I attend every home game and I see just how disinterested he is on the court when he is playing...EVERY team, and I mean EVERY team knows Yao has a hard time hanging on to the ball....

I wish Yao the best but I do not think he is what the Rockets need to win a championship...

    Yao plays like he's depressed.

His body language says that he doesn't want to be out there.

If you even enjoy playing this game how can you be good at it?

Yao is not the only problem this team has. I watch the games too, and I'm not that impressed. However, he is young and can be developed into a much improved plaer. I actually think Yao looks worse since Rudy left. What doesn that say for JVG and his coaching staff.

Dream didn't get his rings over night. It took many years of fans b****ing and moaning and then all of a sudden a city comes together to support their team.

    Give me a break.

This is a team? I thought this was the 1994-95 NY Knicks 10 year reunion. Ward, Weatherspoon, Ewing, Van Halen (I mean Van Gundy), Oakley, Jackson.... Whose next? Larry Johnson, Spree, Mason, Black Jesus?

This is serious? Just try putting YM on the market and see how many teams fall all over themselves trying to get 'in on the joke'.

In fact, name me TWO teams who would stay out of the 'Yao Sweepstakes'. Come on, there is Miami...and?

I do not have confidence going into ANY game that Rox will prevail. There are zero teams likely in the play offs, East or West, I feel the Rox are favorites when palying.

    That's Yao's fault?

There is a joke, afoot, and it is the operation of this club. Yes, I am a fan, and remain so through thin...and thinner.
