Tracy has been going to the hole like a bull in a china shop. You need to look for holes Tracy! How many times did we see T-Mac get stripped tonight?

Yao, other than his dunks, has looked scared, and completely inept. He looks seriously incapable of dominating someone. And his sky hook missed just about every time. If we wanted someone to just dunk, we'd keep MNutumbo for 5 more years.

Battier, while I love him, is now 3- 15 in playoff matchups. And, albeit a bad statement, shows that he is not used to winning in the NBA. Also, his career high is 15 points.

If we don't win this series, we need a major trade.

Both ourselves and the Jazz know now that we will be facing an inferior team.

If we don't win against the jazz, it will certainly be time to trade one of our major counterparts.

I can excuse Dallas a couple years ago. I won't excuse losing to the Jazz.

i sent one to your address just now. mine is no fraud either. it's called a "disposable email address" to prevent spam...i invent the name on the fly, when i need one. what is a fraud is saying "you got it" and then nothing, like some girl who gives you a fake phone number. lol

this ticket offer lasts until 9am tomorrow, babe.

yao just looked completely rushed when he took those shots tonight, he did have 8 to's so we can see why he rushed those shots. i think they simply just outplayed us in the second half. their chants were completely out of sync with each other, everytime they tried yelling ROCKETS SUCK, i could barely make out what they were saying... TIME FOR HOME COURT ADVANTAGE!!!!

For Yao, he is just struggling with the matchup problem against Boozer and have couple of off-nights. But he did wear Okur down and rebound better than he did in regular season. He needs improvement but I am fine with that currently.
For Battier, he is only a role player and he did what he is supposed to do.
TMac is the one who I am not impressed in this series. He should be the biggest matchup problem for Utah but yet to deliver. He is even missing open shots consistently now. His shooting touch is absent in this series. Though he attacked the basket sometimes, he didn't get it done most of times. His effectiveness slipped to the lowest among all superstars in the first round as I believe.
With no legit 3rd scoring option, the rockets is not gotta cut it if Tracy continues to shoot like that.

Let me briefly interrupt this, um, Rockets fan hook-up for a moment and address the original post in the thread. We definitely need a third scoring option...if Luther would only play to his regular season level we would be fine against the Jazz. I have been underestimating them all year, but I think the Rockets should be able to get by them. I am not feeling good about beating the Warriors, though. They have so many guys stepping up right now and the best home court advantage in the league. Yao looks flustered and tired against the Jazz and I think the Warriors will give him more of the same. Anyway, I think the Rockets are going to need to find someone besides Tracy who can create and make his own shot, but I wouldn't do anything crazy.

the stat that battier is 3-15 is completely unfair and useless. he wasnt the star on his former teams. he was a role player just as he is now. if the stars dont play up to par then the role players obviously won't either.

Agreed, Yao and Tmac are great...but, please add another player who's capable of scoring by himself.

Yao and Tmac didn't do well this game. It'll be disappointing if they don't again on Saturday.

I don't think Battier is a cause for his teams losing.

Head has never been considered more than a "role" player. I certainly hope he, Alston, and Hayes can step it up. I honestly could care less about Howard. His entire career has been awful.

The simple fact that we have not dominated one game this series is extremely telling on what our guys can do.

Again, we gave Yao and T-Mac the benefit of the doubt against Dallas a couple years ago.

Again, we gave Yao and T-Mac the benefit due to injuries last year.

Again, we will not be fooled if this glass menagerie falls yet again.
