Hell of a game so far, but the refs need to get a handle on it. They called both Tony Allen and Melvin Sanders for ticky tack fouls and then they let Boddicker absolutely kill Miller and McFarlin gets away with a shoulder to Ross's head. It's still anybody's game, but the Pokes are going to be in real trouble if Allen or Sanders picks up number 4 early in the second half. TJ and Vic are putting on a show.
Boddicker's no call was debatable, but I don't agree on the intentional on Ross. Bottom line: You come into the Erwin Center you better believe the Horns will get some calls, just like OSU will at Iba. Good 1st half, and good OSU is in foul trouble. Royal has really stepped up this first half.
Ivey has played really well. I have no problem with some home court officiating, but that no call on Boddicker is about the worst no call I've ever seen. Lucky there wasn't a fight after that. As physical as this game has been it's ridiculous we only shot 4 free throws and 2 of those were at the very end after Ross decided he should grab Vic for no reason. Anyway, second half about to start. Go Pokes!
Good game. When we finally started playing well again it was too late. Y'all dominated us on the inside in the second half. The foul trouble really hurt us and we missed several wide open looks. Vic played a monster of a game against TJ, though of course Ford was good too as always. I'm looking forward to the game in Stillwater. Hopefully we can get you back up there.
well on espn they showed the last play and said y'all fouled the guy who then shot an airball from like 3 ft. so i guess they made up for it.
It was bad both ways.....But it just seemed that they called way too many ticky-tack fouls on OU, and on the other end had a bunch of no-calls that were worse than the OU "fouls". Oh well, it's over now....The Big XII sure has some bad refs this year.
