I am sorry but Oscar is possibly the worst player in the league right now. I have never been ashamed of anyone in a Rockets' jersey but I think there is a first for everything. Oh, i would like to hear everyones opinion on Moochie running the offense. Is it just me or does he dribble the ball for 15 seconds every possesion. Once we started passing the ball last night we finally started to make some hay. Bench Moochie and Oscar and play Eddie and Walt.

Wow that is some warped sense of reality you have going on there. I know you can't be serious about starting Walt and Griffin. Torres has barely played, and I think he is still growing as a ballplayer and developing a role on the team. Anyone can have a bad night.... not to mention that it was his FIRST start this year, AND he is a rookie.....

No i am defintely not saying start Eddie. However you have to agree that Moochie dribbles the ball way to much and that whenever he comes in our offense seems to stagnate. Oscar Torres is horrible and how he can start and play over Walt is beyond me.

Dude calm down.... I think your jock, is a tad too tight....

To say Oscar is horrible after one game is ridiculous at best. I think he deserves a little bit more lee way than that. He is going to have some nerves, being his first game he has started. Give this guy some time, and he might just suprise you a little. And to think for a moment, that Walt is our saving grace, is just as ridiculous. Walt, is not a shooting guard, heck, he has a hard time guarding slower small forwards.

The only thing I can agree with you on, is that at times our Guards (not just Moochie) dribble the ball way too much and way too long. That is a problem that needs to be fixed right away, there definitely needs to be some more ball moving, for this team to be successful.

I remember the game against the sixers when Torres was popping threes. To not play Moochie? Who will back up Steve?>

You are right Ted Ruxpin. I thought Torres played very well in the pre season and should develop into a very fine player for us. Walt is no starter-no defender.

The only Rocket I was ever ashamed of was Matt Maloney. I'll never forget him trying to guard Stephon Marbury when we played the Timberwolves. We had that good team in '97- lost to Seattle in the 6th game of the western finals. Clyde Drexler still came to play some nights, and Maloney was our point guard. What I would not have given for Moochie then. Maloney's ineptitude shaped the Rockets talent search until we got Michael Dickerson, Bryce Drew, Brent Price, Cuttino Mobley, finally Steve Francis, and Moochie for insurance. you could say it was Maloney's fault we don't have a big man now. We've been obsessed with finding guards.

    I like Oscar Torres.

Really though. I've heard a lot of hype about Oscar here, and he has looked pretty bobo. I saw none of this defensive ability, and he looked clueless. Moochie should be shot if he dribbles the ball for more than 5 seconds. 1 assist for almost 3 quarters....we were bad
