[OSC] Tyler Amaya invited to workout with Houston Rockets

This guy used to play for one of the top CBA teams in China, but he did not get playing time there, and eventually got cut by the team, and replaced Smush Parker. So if this dude got cut by a CBA team in China, how is he going to find any playing time for the Rockets?!

 

He was invited to workout not to join the Rockets. NBA teams always need extra players during the summer for practice. During the regular season, they can't keep those players, so they are cut.

Tyler Amaya IS the next Von Wafer. In fact, in a year or two, we'll be talking about who's going to be the next Tyler Amaya. Von Wafer will be just another after fart.

 

This time last year, Von Wafer wasn't even the next Von Wafer.

On topic: Can't say the front office isn't trying. There's nothing left to do at this point besides beat the hell out of some bushes.

 

I was already letting it go as he clearly missed my point entirely.

It was not about Von but about scouring the land for possible NBA talent.

he sucks. never seen him play, but he won't make the team. yao averaged like 40 points and 20 boards in the CBA, look at kirk snyder's stats. that league is a step up from your local YMCA.
