Orlando is looking to move up in the draft,And why give Houston the leverage over them to move up! If they give Houston any of there first round picks; That will give Houston say the 13,18, and 22 picks over Orlando's 15, and 23rd picks overall. They rather let New York get the pick and out duel Houston to Move up! What do you think? ------------------ When I was Little I call in a local sports show and told them the Rockets should Trade Otis Thorpe for a Lottery Pick. They found me to be stupid.
I think you're reading too much into it. And Phoenix has the pick, not New York. Orlando has yet to claim the pick from Phoenix, if they claim the pick, it goes to us. ------------------ Charles Barkely on the Raptors defeating the Knicks in Round 1 :"I think it was the Lord. The Lord was with the Raptors. You know the Knicks like to talk so much about religion, but I think the Lord was a Raptor fan." [This message has been edited by Puedlfor (edited May 17, 2001).]

The thing is, the Rockets #13 and #22 will beat Orlando's #15 and #23 in terms of moving up, regardless of whether we have the #18 or not. ------------------ RealGM Gafford Art Artisan Cakes
I don't think that Orlando will take the 18th pick from the Suns, because they will have to assume that Webber can sign as a Rocket, and having 3 first round picks can increase the overall strength of our team. ------------------
