    <a href="http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/0525suns0525.html" target="_blank">Magic may let Suns keep pick</a>

Just when the talks with the Grizz/Pistons was getting hot and heavy.

Article also says, "Houston already may have a deal worked out to trade the pick to Vancouver", but I'm betting Bob Young is just referring to the Chronicle article talking about that possibility.

Nothing ever comes easy for this team!
And I wouldn't be surprised if the Colangelo's and Gabriel have some wink wink deal worked out. I hate the Colangelo's more than David Stern. First they chair that committee of puppets that brought in the zone. Then Brian Colangelo and those other idiots neglect Francis when selecting the Goodwill Games team and now they are trying to screw us out of draft picks. OK, I might be over reacting but you never know!

Interesting: Bryan Colangelo and Van Arsdale have different "gut" feelings about the matter of whether or not they will get the pick.

I don't think the article says much that's new. Orl told Phoenix they may let them keep the pick -- well, we knew that from Orlando's fears that the Rockets would use it to move up. We'll just have to wait and see.

If Orlando does not claim the 18th pick, what does that pick do for us next year or the year after? Does it get lower, mandated to be a certain spot or lower (like the Griz to Piston pick)? Can Orlando give us any kind of schlock pick?
