I'm doing a semester project on him, anyone know some dirt about him? I'm volunteering in his campaign to get some in your face research done.
From this: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64295&perpage=30&pagenumber=1 Is Sanchez suffering or do you intend to make him suffer...
Lets hope this doesnt reflect his term if he wins. He flirted with a friend a couple of years ago.....she was excited about it too.
There is a way she can combine her need to work for Sanchez & her desire to help the poor and downtrodden in our community: Do everything in your power to sabotage this clown's campaign. No holds barred.
I once saw a sign with his first name spray painted over with "Dirty" so as to read: Dirty Sanchez for Mayor!
I decided to volunteer in sanchez's campaign because im also doing a semester government project on him. I dont even live in the city limits so I cant vote for him either way. Kill as many birds with one stone my friends. So seriously, nobody knows of some web-pages spilling the goods on him? I need some stuff before saturday so I can ask people working in his campaign about the underside of things.
I did a google search and found this... http://www.political.com/analysis-arc/0415.html It has some negative stuff on him if that's what you're looking for.
During the last mayor's election, I was volunteering at Superfeast on Thanksgiving, and both Lee Brown and Orlando Sanchez showed up to work the crowd for votes. As I was opening a huge can of vegetables behind the main serving table, Orlando Sanchez held out his hand toward me, introduced himself, and said that he hoped he could count on my vote. I looked up and told him "Buddy, I wouldn't vote for you if you were running against yourself". I still feel that way. Orlando Sanchez has ZERO qualifications to be mayor of Houston. If he is elected, we will all be wishing for the good old days of Lee Brown, and I am frightened by that prospect.
“ I hope Metro makes significant changes in response to their public hearings. We need better financial planning and a program that helps more Houstonians ride mass transit. My message to the Metro Board is simple: Rain without proper planning is worse than no rail at all,” Sanchez said. Sanchez rode a Metro bus to the announcement event at Spotts Park off Memorial Drive between downtown Houston and Memorial Park. He pledged to set an example and frequently ride the Main Street Rail line between his home in Westwood and City Hall. http://www.orlandosanchez.com/News/Content.aspx?ArticleID=196
My impression is: If you enjoyed the bureaucratic confusion and political cronyism of the Lee Brown Administration your gonna love Orlando Sanchez.
