have won 12 of their last 15 games with victories over the Heat, Pistons, and Dallas. what they've done is really amazing considering their best player has been jameer nelson, and he hasn't exactly been racking up assists, he's been scoring really well. Actually, looking at their box scores, nobody has been playing much better than the begining of the season. they just have a way of pulling out games. they can actually make the playoffs. they're only three games out with six games left. it would be a truly amazing feat.
Indeed. And to do it without The Heart aka Steve Francis....even more amazing. Just kidding.....it is pretty cool.
Hopefully they keep winning and finish with a better record than us. We are 1/2 game better than them right now.
The Magic are on the right path after Weisbrod left. They are going to be a beast of a team after they sign some FAs in 2007 cause of their cap.
They don't have any cap space if Grant Hill returns. Otherwise they have ~18K.But that's if they renounce the rights to Battie and Garrity. The dilemma they'll face is filing out a roster to 15 with only 7 committed 2006-07 contracts plus a 1st round pick. They lose all MLE type exceptions once they renounce Battie and Garrity.
Is there anyway we can steal J. Nelson and Milliac? Milliac can be a good PF for us... Nelson is very good PG too.
They just extended Battie for the hilariously bad totals of four years and 20-25 million. Two steps forward, one step back. Fun team to watch over the last month, though, even with Hill's superslow pace.
